Turkey was shaken by a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş on Monday, February 6, 2023. On the same day, another 7.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş. We had four projects in the region. These structures were industrial structures. We were very worried at the first shock. However, we learned 1-2 days later that there was no problem with our structures. There was not even the slightest damage in these projects designed by our engineers and solved with Matrix. After this experience, I think there is no need to say much about Matrix. I think it would be very realistic to say that it is the software that best balances this problem, where life safety and cost concerns prevail in the field of structural engineering.
